Where to post your real estate marketing videos for maximum reach

We talk a lot about Facebook and Instagram in our course and a little less about YouTube and sometimes our members wonder why. 

We love YouTube - it’s the world’s biggest video platform and can work really well, depending on your goals.

The biggest challenge that we see real estate professionals experience with Youtube is that it’s really difficult to build an audience...especially in your local community. 

We see Youtube as more of the long game.

When you consistently upload high-quality tip, community and other videos like that to your Youtube channel, you will get valuable views on those videos. But, it takes time for people to come looking for them.

But what we've seen with Facebook and Instagram is that it's really easy to build a local audience for your videos quickly. You have to pay a little bit of money to get the best results but when we say a little bit, we mean tiny budgets.

You can get thousands of targeted local viewers for your videos for pennies each. We typically see around 1,000 views for every $10 spent on Facebook and Instagram.

That gets you a lot of engagement locally and it only works with video. 

Nothing else works like this. Special Ads Category doesn't stop it. Nothing gets in the way because when you're using video, you are creating a highly engaged audience right in the platform. Facebook loves this and will reward you with lots of targeted views for your videos.

Facebook targeting is really powerful and with retargeting, that's where you really get that “you're everywhere” kind of visibility that you’re looking for.

No matter what platforms you use to share your videos, we have one piece of advice that will help you get more views every time.

Upload your videos directly to each platform. If you want to use Youtube and Facebook, upload your videos to both platforms. 

In other words, don't share your Youtube videos to your Facebook feed. The Facebook algorithm works best when you upload your video directly to the platform.

That will get you the most organic reach and give you the best results for your videos.
