Visibility is the thing that makes the biggest difference between successful Realtors and those that are struggling.
I'm sure you're seeing the agents that are having success in your community, in your market - they are visible. They are being seen.
You’ve probably heard that you need to get people to know, like and trust you, right?
We totally buy into that concept and the first thing is that they have to know you. In other words, if you want your perfect clients to select you to be their Realtor, you have to be top of mind when they are thinking about buying or selling their home.
Your visibility is directly tied to your success as a realtor.
So, how do you get that visibility, especially if you’re in a hyper-competitive market?
Things have really changed in the past few years. You used to be able to get more visibility just by spending more money on advertising - buy more billboards or radio and TV ads. You could outspend your competition and get more visibility that way. It just doesn’t work that way anymore.
The game has changed but the goal is still the same - it's all about getting the best leads and converting them into clients. How do you get people to see that you are the perfect option for them now that those traditional marketing channels don’t get the same attention they used to?
Social media is the best place to do that today. Facebook and Instagram have become the number one destination for news, entertainment and connection in all of our communities. The best part about using social media to market your business is that it costs a lot less money than those past marketing options. You can get maximum exposure with minimum investment.
Video gets 12X more engagement than all other posts combined and the National Association of Realtors says that property listings with video get four times more inquiries than photos alone.
You want to stand out and you want your ideal clients to see you and say, ‘you're the right realtor for me’ and the only way that you can do that is with video.
Video is the best way to create the kind of connection that you want with your prospective clients. People feel like they are really getting to know you. That you could be friends.
When you have that personal touch with somebody, then they feel comfortable with you, and when it comes to making one of the biggest decisions of their lives - buying or selling their family home, they want to work with somebody that they can put their trust and faith in.
People need to know, like and trust you. They want to know that you're going to be a good fit and that they’re going to love working with you.
